问：上帝对天使有何护理之工？

答：为使自己得荣耀，上帝藉其护理，上帝为了自己的荣耀，藉其护理之工，容许部份天使，在祂的限制和定规下⁽¹⁾，蓄意堕落犯罪，并硬心到底，自取灭亡⁽²⁾；又按自己旨意所喜悦的，藉着自己权柄、怜悯、公义之治理⁽³⁾，使其余的天使都被建立在圣洁和喜乐之中⁽⁴⁾。

問い：み使に対する神の摂理とは何であるか。

答え：神はその摂理によって、ご自身の栄光のために、あるみ使らが自ら好んで、回復できないほどに罪と滅びに陥ること⁽¹⁾を許し、そのことと彼らのすべての罪を限定し、配置された⁽²⁾。また、残りのみ使らを聖潔と幸福とに確立された⁽³⁾。そして、み心のままに、彼らすべてを、神の力、あわれみ、正義を行なうのに⁽⁴⁾用いられる⁽⁵⁾。

Question：What is God’s providence towards the angels?

Answer：God by his providence permitted some of the angels, wilfully and irrecoverably, to fall into sin and damnation, limiting and ordering that, and all their sins, to his own glory; and established the rest in holiness and happiness; employing them all, at his pleasure, in the administrations of his power, mercy, and justice.
